Breakfast and departure towards Český Krumlov; along the way we pass through České Budějovice, famous for its Budvar beer, copied by the Americans with their Budweiser. Český Krumlov (UNESCO) — ranked among the most beautiful and visited historic cities in the Czech Republic. The first records of this town date back to the mid-13th century. In 1302 the Rožmberk family bequeathed the original castle to Krumlov, which was later rebuilt in Renaissance style. The current palace complex is, after Prague Castle, the largest in the country. The castle preserves the only Baroque theatre with original period costumes and the illusionistically painted Hall of Masks.
