Day 1 — Prague

Arrival and private transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel Barcelo Praha 4★ (or similar).

Days 2 & 3 — Prague

Breakfast and free time to discover Prague.

Day 4 — Hradec Králové

Situated at the confluence of the Elbe and Orlice rivers, Hradec Králové became a Slavic stronghold in the 9th century under the first Přemyslid rulers. Under Josef II (1741–1790) it was transformed into a Baroque fortress; today it is the seat of the Archdiocese of Bohemia and was visited by Pope John Paul II in 2001. Not to be missed: the Great Square with the White Tower, Renaissance and Baroque townhouses, the Cathedral of the Assumption and the Museum of East Bohemia.

Day 5 — Hradec Králové – Jindřichův Hradec – Český Krumlov  (200 km)

Breakfast and departure towards southern Bohemia. Stop in Jindřichův Hradec, home to the second largest palace complex in the Czech Republic. Continue to České Budějovice and Český Krumlov. Overnight at Hotel Dvořák 4★ (or similar).

Day 6 — Český Krumlov – Karlovy Vary  (250 km)

Breakfast and early morning guided tour of Krumlov Fortress. Departure to Karlovy Vary with a stop in Plzeň, best known for its Pilsner Urquell brewery. Arrival in Karlovy Vary in the mid-afternoon. Overnight at Hotel Elefant 3★ sup. (or similar).

Day 7 — Karlovy Vary – Prague Airport  (110 km)

Breakfast and a visit to the town and some of its thermal springs. Departure to Prague Airport three hours before the flight. Car return at the airport.

Day 1 — Prague

Arrival and private transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel Barcelo Praha 4★ (or similar). Free time to explore the city. Our guides will offer optional excursions.

Day 2 — Prague

Breakfast and free time to discover Prague.

Day 3 — Prague – Karlovy Vary – Mariánské Lázně  (150 km)

Breakfast and car collection from the city rental office. Visit the two most important spa towns in the Czech Republic. Overnight at Hotel Agricola 4★ (or similar).

Day 4 — Mariánské Lázně – Plzeň – Český Krumlov – České Budějovice

Breakfast and an early morning visit to one of the thermal spas. Stop in Plzeň and Český Krumlov (UNESCO). Lunch and continuation to České Budějovice, home to one of the most beautiful squares in the country. Hluboká Castle is recommended if time allows. Overnight at Hotel Dvořák 4★ (or similar).

Day 5 — České Budějovice – Brno – Olomouc  (290 km)

Breakfast and departure towards Moravia. Recommended stop in Jindřichův Hradec. Continue to Brno, the capital of Moravia. Lunch and continuation to Olomouc. Overnight at Hotel Lafayette 4★ (or similar).

Day 6 — Olomouc

Olomouc has the second most significant historic centre in the country after Prague, a testament to its importance among Central European medieval cities. Optional half-day excursion to Ostrava or Hradec Králové.

Day 7 — Olomouc – Prague  (280 km)

Breakfast and departure to Prague. The inland route via Pardubice is recommended. Overnight at the hotel after returning the car to the rental office or at the hotel itself.

Day 8 — Prague – Airport

Breakfast at the hotel and free time until the transfer to the airport for the return flight.
