Day 1 — Arrival in Bucharest (D)
Arrival at Bucharest airport, assistance from an English-speaking guide and transfer to the hotel. Dinner.
Day 2 — Bucharest › Cozia › Sibiu (B&B)
Breakfast and departure to Sibiu, crossing the Carpathian Mountains through the Olt Valley. Stop at Cozia to visit the monastery built by Prince Mircea the Elder, grandfather of Vlad Țepeș (the prince who inspired the figure of Dracula). Arrival in Sibiu. Accommodation.
Day 3 — Sibiu › Sibiel › Sibiu (B&B)
Breakfast and stroll through the medieval centre of Sibiu, visiting the Evangelical Church (where the natural son of Vlad the Impaler is buried), the Orthodox Cathedral and the Catholic Cathedral. Departure to the village of Sibiel to admire the collection of icons on glass and wood. Free afternoon in Sibiu. Accommodation.
Day 4 — Sibiu › Sighișoara › Brașov (B&B)
Breakfast and departure to Brașov with a stop in Sighișoara, where you will visit the medieval citadel (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the house where Prince Vlad Țepeș (the Impaler) was born. Continuation to Brașov. Accommodation.
Day 5 — Brașov › Bran › Brașov (B&B)
Breakfast and panoramic tour of Brașov with the famous Black Church. Departure to the village of Bran: visit to the "Libearty" bear sanctuary and the medieval castle known as Dracula's Castle. Return to Brașov. Accommodation.
Day 6 — Brașov › Sinaia › Bucharest (B&B)
Breakfast and departure to Bucharest. Stop in Sinaia to visit Peleș Palace (19th century), summer residence of the Romanian royal family. Arrival in Bucharest, lunch and brief panoramic tour of the city. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 7 — Bucharest (B&B)
Breakfast and tour of Bucharest. The "City of Joy", founded by Prince Vlad Țepeș in 1459, was known as the "Little Paris of the East" for its French-influenced buildings and rich cultural life. During the panoramic tour you will visit the Village Museum, located in the largest park in the city. Free afternoon. Accommodation.
Day 8 — Bucharest › Home
Breakfast and transfer to the airport.
