Panoramic Tour of Budapest

We visit the most important landmarks of the Hungarian capital, starting on the Pest bank with Heroes' Square, Vajdahunyad Castle, then continuing along Andrássy Avenue, admiring the spectacular facades of the Opera House, St Stephen's Basilica and the Parliament. We cross the Danube via Margaret Bridge, catching a glimpse of the beautiful island. In Buda we ascend to the Castle District, passing the Fisherman's Bastion and Matthias Church. We climb to the Citadel — the best vantage point for a photo of the city. We return to the Pest side across the Sisi Bridge and finish in the city centre.

Cultural Tour of Budapest

Guided visit to the interior of Hungary's Parliament*, the country's most iconic building. In the dome hall we will see the Hungarian Crown Jewels. This is followed by a visit to the State Opera House, a majestic Neo-Renaissance palace from the era of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

*The Parliament reserves the right to restrict access on special occasions such as national holidays, state visits, etc. In such cases, the visit will be replaced by the Basilica.

Szentendre

A charming escape from the capital with a completely different atmosphere. We will stroll through the town's narrow streets and along the riverside promenade. We will discover the icons of the Orthodox Church, and for contrast climb the hill where the Catholic church stands at the town's centre. During the free time there are plenty of options: visiting one of the many museums, enjoying a coffee in one of the delightful cafés, or picking up a gift for the family in one of the craft shops.

Danube Bend

A blend of landscape and history. We visit the city of Esztergom, the seat of the Catholic Church in Hungary. Inside the spectacularly positioned and impressively sized basilica, we will see the Renaissance chapel and the tomb of Cardinal Mindszenty, among other highlights. The tour includes a visit to the interior of the medieval castle of Visegrád, perched on the so-called "Cloud Hill", from where we enjoy breathtaking views of the Danube Bend. Optional lunch in Visegrád. The excursion ends in Szentendre, where after a stroll through the centre — including the Orthodox church — there will be time for shopping.

Danube Cruise  

We meet at 19:30 at a central meeting point and, accompanied by a local English-speaking guide, make our way to the embarkation pier. Over the course of one hour we will discover the city's most fascinating stories and enjoy a unique perspective of Budapest as seen from the river. During the cruise there will be the opportunity to stay inside the boat or step out onto the deck to take photos.
