Day 1 — Munich › Kufstein

Arrival at Munich Airport. Meeting with the guide and boarding the coach, which will take us to Kufstein in just over an hour and a half. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 — Kufstein › Innsbruck › Rattenberg › Kufstein (Half board)

In the morning, visit to Innsbruck, capital of Tyrol: the famous Olympic ski jump, the Zeughaus, Maria-Theresien-Strasse with the Triumphal Arch, the Cathedral, the Imperial Palace and the famous Golden Roof. Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, free time and a visit to the charming town of Rattenberg. Return to the hotel.

Day 3 — Kufstein › Salzburg › Kufstein (Half board)

Excursion to Salzburg, Mozart's city: the Mirabell Gardens, the Cathedral, Mozart's birthplace, St. Peter's Cemetery and the Residenz. Lunch at a restaurant. Free time to stroll along the Getreidegasse. Return to the hotel in the mid-afternoon.

Day 4 — Kufstein › Gerlos Pass › Krimml › Kitzbühel › Kufstein (Half board)

In the morning, a drive through the Zillertal with its magnificent scenery. Ascent via the winding road of the Gerlos Pass to Krimml, to see its magnificent waterfalls set in a lush park. Continuation to Kitzbühel, a town famous as a meeting place for the winter jet set. Lunch and time to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. Return to the hotel. After dinner, a Tyrolean folk show at the hotel.

Day 5 — Kufstein › Neuschwanstein › Oberammergau › Kufstein (Half board)

Departure for the German border to reach Neuschwanstein Castle, built by Ludwig II of Bavaria — the Mad King — in a magnificent setting above the Füssen lake. The tour takes in the various scenes from Wagner's operas and the impressive Throne Room. Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, a stroll through Oberammergau, famous for the Passion Play performed by its inhabitants and for its wood carvings. Late arrival at the hotel.

Day 6 — Kufstein › Achensee › Herrenchiemsee › Munich

Breakfast. In the morning, Lake Achensee: a boat trip and time to enjoy the scenery at Pertisau. Return to Kufstein for lunch. In the afternoon, Lake Chiemsee: boat to the Herreninsel (Men's Island), home to Herrenchiemsee Palace, built by Ludwig II of Bavaria in the style of Versailles. Visit to the palace and its magnificent gardens. Late in the day, continuation to Munich. Dinner at a restaurant and overnight.

Day 7 — Munich (Bed & breakfast)

Tour of the Bavarian capital: the Karlstor, Marienplatz with the Virgin's Column, the New Town Hall with its carillon, the Residenz and the Cathedral. Lunch at a restaurant. Free afternoon for a stroll or shopping. Dinner at the Hofbräuhaus, the most famous brewery in the city and arguably in the world.

Day 8 — Munich › Airport

Breakfast and transfer to Munich Airport.
