Programme — Switzerland: Geneva, Alps and Zermatt 6 days / 5 nights
Day 1 — Geneva › Lausanne › Gruyères › Hasliberg/Meiringen
Arrival and boarding the coach. Visit to the international district of Geneva: headquarters of the International Red Cross and the UN building (exterior). In the centre, by the lake: the Jet d'Eau, the parks of the rive gauche (Parc de la Grange and Parc des Eaux-Vives), the Flower Clock and, in the old town, the Russian Orthodox church, the Reformation Wall, the Town Hall with its cannons, and the Cathedral from which Calvin imposed the Protestant Reformation. Continuation to Lausanne: lunch and a walk through the historic centre with the Castle, the Ecole de Berne, the Cathedral with its views over the lake and the Market Steps. Continuation to Gruyères, the medieval town that gives its name to Switzerland's most famous cheese. Late arrival at the hotel in Hasliberg, with breathtaking views of the Wetterhorn massif. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2 — Hasliberg › Alpentower › Aare Gorge › Meiringen › Hasliberg (Full board)
In the morning, ascent by cable cars to the Alpentower (2,245 m), with breathtaking views of 401 peaks of the Central Alps above 3,000 metres — from the Titlis to the Eiger. Optional walk between Mägisalp, where you can observe pastoral life with cows on the grazing slopes, down to the Bidmi meadows. In the afternoon, Meiringen: walk through the narrow Aare Gorge, visit to the Reichenbach Falls — where Conan Doyle set the final battle between Sherlock Holmes and Moriarty — and a stroll through the town.
Day 3 — Hasliberg › Bern › Trümmelbachfälle › Interlaken › Hasliberg (Half board)
In the morning, visit to Bern, the Swiss federal capital: streets with geranium-adorned windows, medieval fountains, the Clock Tower with its chimes, the Parliament, the Cathedral and the Bear Pit that gave the city its name. After midday, return to the Bernese Oberland. Lunch at a restaurant overlooking Lake Thun. In the afternoon, the Lauterbrunnen valley to visit the Trümmelbachfälle indoor waterfalls, arguably Switzerland's most remarkable natural phenomenon. Free time in Interlaken.

Day 4 — Hasliberg › Rhine Falls › Zurich › Lucerne › Lake Lucerne › Hasliberg (Half board)
Departure via the Susten Pass with views of the Stein Glacier, entering central Switzerland. Skirting Lake Lucerne and passing through Zug, we reach the Rhine Falls near the German border — a drop of 20 metres over a width of 150 metres — visible from the Neuhausen viewpoints. Continuation to Zurich: the Cathedral, Niederdorfstrasse, the Lindenhof, the Bahnhofstrasse and the Paradeplatz. Lunch. Continuation to Lucerne: squares and lanes (Kornmarkt, Hirschenplatz, Weinmarktplatz), the wooden bridges Spreuerbrücke and Kapellbrücke, and the Jesuit and Franciscan churches. Boat cruise across Lake Lucerne to Hergiswil. Return to the Haslital by coach.

Day 5 — Haslital › Grimsel › Rhône Glacier › Zermatt › Täsch
Breakfast and departure for the Grimsel Pass, entering the Canton of Valais. The ramps of the Furka Pass lead to the Belvedere, where we access the Rhône Glacier and enter the grotto carved into the ice with its remarkable blue hue. Descent through the spectacular Goms Valley to Visp and into the Zermatt valley. Lunch at the hotel in Täsch. In the afternoon, arrival in Zermatt by train — a car-free town. Optional ascent to Gornergrat by mountain railway, with views of the glacier of the same name and the Matterhorn, the most famous peak in Switzerland, and Monte Rosa. Dinner and overnight in Täsch.
Day 6 — Täsch › Borromean Islands › Milan Malpensa
Breakfast. Return to the Rhône valley and crossing of the Simplon Pass into Italy. Arrival in Stresa, on the shores of Lake Maggiore. By boat, visit to Isola Bella — property of the Borromeo family —: the palace and its gardens with an exceptional microclimate that allows firs and palm trees to coexist. Stroll around the Isola dei Pescatori. Return by boat to Pallanza for lunch. Stop in Orta San Giulio. Continuation to Milan Malpensa Airport.
