- TripAdvisor review 2018. Los Cabos, Mexico
"I must say that my family and I were absolutely fascinated by this day tour from Prague. Our private guide Nelson was super punctual, flexible, friendly and had an incredibly broad knowledge of all the places we visited. The food was delicious and the vehicle very comfortable. I highly recommend this visit to a magical place in Europe. Thank you Nelson for an unforgettable day."

New Town, Nové Město
Staré Město – Old Town, Malá Strana – Lesser Town, Hradčany – Castle Town and Nové Město – New Town are the four historic districts of Prague that enjoyed royal city charters in the medieval era. The New Town was founded on 8 March 1348. Its extraordinary splendour began in the mid-14th century when, under Charles IV, Prague became the seat of the Holy Roman Empire. The New Town, one of the most attractive districts, is full of beautiful corners that make it a must for lovers of history, architecture and beauty. Its most representative squares include Wenceslas Square, Charles Square, Republic Square and Alois Jirásek Square. The walking tour includes entry to the crypt of the Orthodox Church of St. Cyril and St. Methodius, where the 7 paratroopers who carried out the assassination of General Reinhard Heydrich on 27 May 1942 took refuge during the Nazi occupation.

Vyšehrad, the origin of Prague
A beautiful Central European nation, its myths and legends. The ruins of the legendary VYŠEHRAD, where legend places the very beginning of Prague's history. It preserves its walls, which quietly shelter the Romanesque rotunda of St. Martin from the 11th century, as well as the neo-Gothic basilica dedicated to the apostles St. Peter and St. Paul, and the cemetery where the remains of the most illustrious figures in Czech art, science and culture lie at rest. The four sculptural groups by sculptor Myslbek, dedicated to legendary Czech figures such as Přemysl, Libuše, Slavoj, Ctirad and Šárka, and Lumír and Song, adorn the park surrounding these precious relics of such a historic site. Scheduled walking tours on Saturdays and Sundays, with entry to the basilica and the cemetery. Return transport from hotels included.

Malá Strana
Founded in 1257 by Czech king Přemysl Otakar II, Malá Strana (the Lesser Town) emerged when Prague Castle (Hradčany) overflowed with palaces and the nobility began building their residences on the lower slope of the fortification, in the triangle formed by the castle, the Vltava riverbank and Petřín Hill. Initially Malá Strana was populated by Germans and, due to its geographical position, became a mandatory transit point between the Old Town and Hradčany. Many Italian artists also settled there and played an active role in the construction of palaces and churches. No other part of Prague has as many majestic palaces as Malá Strana. Both the Czech Parliament and numerous countries have established their diplomatic missions in this district. The walking tour begins on the terrace of Strahov Monastery and covers the most iconic sites of Malá Strana, including entry to the Church of Our Lady of Victory (Infant Jesus of Prague) and St. Nicholas Church.

Kutná Hora from Prague
After breakfast, pick-up at your hotel and departure for Kutná Hora (UNESCO). Located 65 km from Prague, the ancient Royal Mining Town of Kutná Hora ranks among the most important monumental complexes in the Czech Republic, with over three hundred protected works. It emerged spontaneously in the second half of the 13th century around silver mining settlements. The city played an important role in the political life of King Wenceslaus IV. It was here that the Decree of Kutná Hora was issued and where Vladislaus II of Bohemia was elected Czech king. We visit: St. Barbara's Cathedral, patron saint of miners; the Mint where the Czech groschen was struck until 1547; the Stone House in Gothic style; and the Church of St. John of Nepomuk. On the way we pass through Sedlec, famous for its extraordinary ossuary — the largest in Europe.

Karlštejn or Křivoklát, castles of Bohemia

Karlštejn Castle dates from the reign of Charles IV and was built between 1348 and 1367. It is considered one of the most outstanding medieval buildings in Europe — a sanctuary of medieval architecture and art. The Crown Jewels and other sacred objects were once kept within its walls. It is located 35 km southwest of Prague. During the winter months the castle is closed (Nov–March) and we offer instead Křivoklát Castle, built between 1240 and 1270 as a prestigious royal hunting seat. The building has a triangular structure dominated by its tower. The castle was destroyed and rebuilt several times, with a major reconstruction begun in 1856 and completed in the 1920s. It is located approximately 50 km from Prague.

Terezín, a place to remember
60 km north of Prague lies Terezín, an 18th-century fortress used by the Nazis during World War II as a prison and concentration camp. Inside the camp it is possible to visit the barracks, courtyards and rooms that immerse visitors in one of the darkest chapters of recent history. In the rest of the town, the Ghetto Museum and the Magdeburg Museum can be visited, housing displays of the prisoners' daily life in the camp. We conclude our visit at the Crematorium, one of the most powerful parts of the tour, where thousands of prisoners were cremated.

Český Krumlov from Prague

Český Krumlov is one of the Czech towns on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Located in the south of Bohemia, it is the most visited tourist destination after Prague, 180 km away. The greatest charm of Český Krumlov lies in the fact that the town has preserved its historic appearance, offering a wonderful view of cobbled alleyways and medieval architecture in a uniquely well-preserved state. The castle is one of the most important tourist attractions in all of Central Europe. The town served as the residence of the most powerful noble dynasties in the country. For all these reasons it is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Lunch included at a central restaurant.

Dresden (Germany) from Prague

Known as the "Florence of the Elbe" for its resemblance to the Tuscan city, Dresden is one of Germany's most beautiful cities. On this full-day excursion you will discover its UNESCO World Heritage historic centre. We stroll across the Augustus Bridge, visit the Cathedral, the Zwinger Gardens, the Frauenkirche and the Semperoper — Germany's most famous opera house. In February 1945, just twelve weeks before Nazi Germany's capitulation, Dresden was subjected to a series of bombings that triggered a firestorm reducing its historic centre to rubble. The full tour includes: Hauptstrasse, Dreikönigskirche, Goldener Reiter, Augustusbrücke, Catholic Cathedral, Semperoper, Zwinger, Royal Palace, Procession of Princes, Stables, Frauenkirche, Kultur Palast, Brühl's Terrace and the Albertinum.
