Advantages of a private tour
Bratislava — Guided Tour (half day, 4–5 hours)
A tour around the historic centre of the former Pressburg, the Austro-Hungarian capital for over 300 years — a city of coronations and congresses — whose vivid past can be felt while strolling through streets lined with numerous period buildings. The route begins with an ascent to the beautiful gardens and ramparts of Bratislava Castle, offering the finest aerial views of the city and the River Danube. After descending, the guided walk winds through the best squares of the old town, from St. Martin's Cathedral to the majestic Primatial Palace, with detailed commentary on key historical events throughout. Beyond the old town, it is well worth crossing the Danube over two of its main bridges to complete an unforgettable circuit of one of Europe's most fascinating and lesser-known capitals.

Guided Tour of Devín Castle and the Natural Border of the Morava River (half day, 4–5 hours)
After reaching the site by city bus, the tour begins with a walk along the River Danube to the point where it meets the Morava, beneath the imposing walls of a fortress with origins dating back to the Roman Empire. The present-day border between Austria and Slovakia at this very spot reveals its geo-strategic importance across thousands of years, lying at the heart of Europe where two of the continent's most significant mountain systems meet — the Carpathians and the Alps. The route through the ruins of Devín Castle, destroyed by Napoleonic troops in the early 19th century, offers an exceptional historical overview from the Neolithic period to the era of the Iron Curtain, while also showcasing the finest views, ecosystems and landscapes of this part of the continent.

Guided Tour of Trnava and the Little Carpathians (6–7 hours)

Known as the "Little Rome" for its remarkable concentration of churches and for being the historic seat of one of the most important archdioceses of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire, Trnava today boasts the most thoroughly restored old town in the Slovak Republic, with the added distinction of being enclosed within the country's largest surviving city walls. The magnificent Cathedral of St. Nicholas and the beautiful Trinity Square are among the highlights of a rich monumental ensemble that also holds some surprising gems, including two truly spectacular synagogues. Travelling by public transport — train and bus — the return to Bratislava along the foothills of the Little Carpathians Nature Park links three towns closely associated with the region's historic wine-making tradition: Modra, Pezinok and Svätý Jur, where fine bourgeois houses and wine cellars dating from the 17th to 19th centuries can be admired.
