Following the History of Czech Beer (Pivo)

In the company of a professional guide who will introduce you to the Czech Republic — its history, monuments, landscapes and the best of its gastronomy, with its star: PIVO. For those who have already visited Prague and want to keep discovering the country, or for those visiting the Czech Republic for the very first time. Czech beer is the best in the world. What sets it apart from others is its fuller flavour, greater bitterness and, above all, the feeling that you simply have to have another one. The Czech beer market is also notable for its enormous variety. In addition to the world-famous brands Plzeňský Prazdroj and Budějovický Budvar, there are also many local brands with their own distinctive taste. As far back as the 18th century there were more than 1,200 of them, and today there are approximately fifty, most of which can be tasted directly at the breweries. There are also around twenty restaurant-style microbreweries where you can watch the brewing process while enjoying the beer. Perhaps the most famous is U Fleku brewery, which has been brewing since 1499.
