Day 1 — Budapest

Welcome to Hungary! Arrival in Budapest and, after meeting our Spanish-speaking guide, private transfer to the hotel. Check-in. Hotel Lion's Garden 4★ or similar.
Day 2 — Budapest – Gödöllő – Hollókő – Eger
Full Board
Breakfast and meeting with our Spanish-speaking guide for the excursion to Gödöllő. Visit one of the largest Baroque palaces in the world: the former summer residence of Queen Elisabeth (Sisi) and Emperor Franz Joseph. The museum visit and stroll through the palace gardens will evoke the era of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Our guide will reveal the secrets of the royal bedrooms, hidden doors, private life and the loves of the imperial couple.
We continue to the picturesque village of Hollókő — a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, like an open-air museum. Its origins date back to the 13th century. It features the "Szár" castle and its distinctive "palóc" inhabitants, who wear their traditional costumes on Sundays and feast days. Lunch and onward to Eger, where we stroll through its Baroque-style streets. Dinner and accommodation. Hotel Park 4★ or similar.
Day 3 — Eger – Kecskemét

Breakfast and visit to Eger Castle, the scene of the famous battle against the Ottomans, who left their mark here in the form of minarets that still stand today. We continue south towards the Puszta — the Great Hungarian Plain, a landscape truly characteristic of the country. Lunch at a traditional farmhouse with Romani music and the opportunity to taste the famous "Gulyás" soup. Visit to Kecskemét, birthplace of Zoltán Kodály, with remarkable examples of Hungarian Art Nouveau architecture. Dinner and accommodation. Hotel Aranyhomok 4★ or similar.
Day 4 — Kecskemét – Paks – Pécs
Full Board
Breakfast and departure towards Pécs, crossing the Danube at Paks where we stop to see the Catholic Church designed by architect Imre Makovecz. Lunch at a traditional restaurant. Visit to Pécs, the second most visited city in the country and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known since Roman times as Sopiane, it features monuments from pre-Christian times, from 150 years of Ottoman occupation, and from the famous Zsolnay porcelain manufactory. Dinner and accommodation. Hotel Corso 4★ or similar.
Day 5 — Pécs – Tihany – Balatonfüred – Tapolca
Full Board
Breakfast and departure towards Lake Balaton, the largest freshwater lake in Central Europe. We cross it by ferry to reach the picturesque Tihany Peninsula, where we visit Hungary's second oldest abbey, founded in the 11th century and restored in Baroque style in the 19th century. Lunch. In the afternoon, visit to Balatonfüred, the oldest spa resort on the lake. Dinner and accommodation in Tapolca. Hotel Pelion 4★ or similar.

Day 6 — Tapolca – Herend – Pannonhalma – Budapest
Full Board
Breakfast and departure towards Herend. Visit to one of the world's largest porcelain manufactories, founded in 1826. Guided tour of the workshops, coffee included and time for shopping. Onward to Pannonhalma, where we visit Hungary's first Benedictine abbey on St. Martin's Hill, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch near the abbey. Return to Budapest in the afternoon. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 7 — Budapest — Panoramic tour
Full Board
Breakfast and panoramic tour. In Buda: the Castle District with the Royal Palace, Matthias Church and the magnificent Fisherman's Bastion. From the Citadella on St. Gerard's Hill you get the best views of Budapest. In Pest: the majestic Andrássy Avenue, the famous Opera House, Heroes' Square and the courtyard of Vajdahunyad Castle. Lunch at a central restaurant. Free afternoon: possibility to visit the Opera House and the Parliament. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 8 — Budapest – Airport
Bed & Breakfast
Breakfast and meeting with our Spanish-speaking guide at the indicated time for the transfer to the airport.
