We invite you to know better the “Madrid of the Austrias” during the best season of the year, which allows you to walk the streets in a more comfortable way. The nickname for this part of the centre of Madrid has an historical origin: it is in this area where the Hapsburg’s dynasty created the historic buildings of a village they chose as the capital of Spain. Its buildings are reminiscent of the Spanish imperial era, when the Hapsburgs governed an empire that stretched from beyond the Netherlands to America. Come to travel across “Madrid of the Austrias“accompanied by one of our guides and visit the insides of the Royal Palace.

Day 1.

Arrival to Madrid and private transfer with English speaking driver to the chosen hotel. Day off to explore the city.

Day 2.

Madrid-Visit “Madrid de los Austrias”. Breakfast at the hotel. The local guide will pick you up at the hotel and you will start the visit to the “Madrid of the Austrias”, with entrance to the Royal Palace. The neighbourhood extends from Sol crossing Calle Mayor and Arenal to La Latina and Plaza de Oriente. The way to start the tour is walking the few meters that divide La Puerta Del Sol from la Plaza Mayor. This square is the Heart of the Hapsburgs and here is La Calle Mayor that leads to Bailen and La Almudena – Plaza de Oriente - Royal Palace. On the other side is La Latina with its nightlife.

Triple rooms. Generally, hotels do not have triple rooms with three separate beds. We do understand by triple room a double room + extra bed, sofa-bed or similar. Triple rooms are not recommended for three adults, they are only suitable for 2 adults + 1 child or 3 children.
