Lidická 702/23, 602 00 Brno, Czech Republic
General Description
Hotel Passage is a four-star boutique hotel occupying a landmark Functionalist building in the heart of Brno, designed by architect Bohuslav Fuchs and opened in 1928 as the city's premier luxury address. After the 1948 nationalisation the property was renamed Hotel Slovan; it has since been restored to its original name. The distinctive building is intersected by a covered arcade — the "passage" — connecting Lidická street with Mášova street, and is easily accessible by car, tram and on foot from Brno's main railway and bus stations.
The hotel's 103 air-conditioned rooms and suites are finished in a clean, natural style with wooden floors, heated bathroom floors, plush bathrobes, minibars and flat-screen TVs. Špilberk Castle, Villa Tugendhat, the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul, and Freedom Square are all within easy walking distance, making Passage an ideal base for both business and leisure travellers in Moravia's capital.
Dining is centred on Restaurant Passage, which also features a bar and lounge. The hotel has a 24-hour fitness centre, a wine tasting room, and seven fully equipped meeting rooms covering over 630 m² of event space — making it a popular choice for conferences and corporate events in Brno.
