Day 1 — Zurich › Rhine Falls › Donaueschingen
Arrival at Zurich Airport. Meeting with the guide and boarding the coach. We head towards Schaffhausen to see the spectacular Rhine Falls, where the river drops more than 20 metres over a width of nearly 150 metres. Crossing into Germany and arrival in Donaueschingen. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2 — Donaueschingen › Meersburg › Mainau › Donaueschingen (Half board)
A day devoted to Meersburg, a beautiful town on the shores of Lake Constance with its castle overlooking the water, and the Island of Mainau — the island of flowers — where the Bernadotte family has been creating an admirable Botanical Garden for over a hundred years. Lunch on Mainau and a visit to the island until mid-afternoon. Return to the hotel.

Day 3 — Donaueschingen › Triberg › Baden-Baden › Freiburg
Breakfast and departure for Triberg, with its waterfalls set in beautiful scenery where squirrels eat out of tourists' hands — the birthplace of the cuckoo clock. After midday, the Black Forest ridge road leads to Baden-Baden, the spa town famous since Roman times and a meeting place for the jet set until the mid-20th century. Walk through the town: the Trinkhalle, the Casino and the Theatre. In the mid-afternoon, continuation to Freiburg. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4 — Freiburg › Feldberg › Titisee › Freiburg (Full board)
Departure for the Feldberg, the highest massif in the Black Forest. Descent to Titisee, a glacial lake set in beautiful fir-tree scenery. Free time and return to Freiburg. In the afternoon, a tour of the city with its characteristic red sandstone buildings: the Cathedral, the Haus zum Walfisch, the Wenzingerhaus, the University and the Town Hall.
Day 5 — Freiburg › Bern › Trümmelbachfälle › Interlaken › Meiringen
Breakfast and departure for Basel and Bern, the Swiss federal capital. Tour with a panoramic view of the rooftops from the Rose Garden, the Bear Pit (which gave the city its name), the arcaded streets with their medieval fountains, the Cathedral tympanum, the chimes of the Clock Tower and the Parliament building. After lunch, entry into the Bernese Oberland. In the Lauterbrunnen valley, visit to the Trümmelbachfälle indoor waterfalls, Switzerland's most spectacular natural phenomenon. Free time in Interlaken. Arrival in Meiringen. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6 — Meiringen › Alpentower › Brienz › Aare Gorge › Meiringen (Full board)
In the morning, ascent by three cable cars to the Alpentower, with breathtaking views of the Central Alps and its 401 peaks above 3,000 metres. Optional walk. In the afternoon, a walk through the narrow Aare Gorge, with walls of nearly 200 metres and passages barely two metres wide. Stroll through Brienz, on the shores of the lake of the same name, with its charming wooden houses. Return to Meiringen for dinner.
Day 7 — Meiringen › Lucerne › Zurich
Breakfast and departure for Lucerne, the most beautiful of Swiss cities. Tour including the Lion Monument, the squares and streets of the old town (Kornmarkt, Hirschenplatz, Weinmarkt), the wooden bridges Spreuerbrücke and Kapellbrücke, the Jesuit church, the Santiago Calatrava railway station and the KKL by Jean Nouvel. After lunch, continuation to Zurich: walking tour with the Cathedral, Niederdorfstrasse, the banks of the Limmat, the Bahnhofstrasse with its elegant shops and the Paradeplatz, Switzerland's financial centre. Dinner and overnight.
Day 8 — Zurich › Airport
Breakfast and transfer to the airport.
