Programme — Legends of Romania 8 days / 7 nights
Day 1 — Arrival in Bucharest (Half board)
Arrival at Otopeni International Airport (Bucharest). Transfer to the hotel with a Spanish-speaking guide. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2 — Bucharest › Piatra Neamț (Full board · approx. 350 km / 6 hrs)
Breakfast and panoramic tour of Bucharest with the guide. The "City of Joy", also known as the "Little Paris of the East" for its French-influenced architecture. Visit to the Palace of the Parliament, known as Ceaușescu's building, the second largest building in the world after the Pentagon. Departure for Piatra Neamț. Lunch en route (Buzău). Dinner and overnight in Piatra Neamț.
Day 3 — Piatra Neamț › Gura Humorului (Full board · 130 km)
Breakfast and departure for Bukovina, Romanian Moldavia. En route, visit to the Neamț Monastery. Arrival in Gura Humorului. Lunch. In the afternoon, visit to the Humor Monastery. Dinner and overnight at the Best Western Bucovina Club de Munte 4★.
Day 4 — Gura Humorului › Bukovina Monasteries › Gura Humorului (Full board · 120 km)
Breakfast and continuation of the visit to Bukovina, the northern part of the Moldavia region, famous for its Byzantine art monuments with exterior painted frescoes. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 5 — Gura Humorului › Bistrița › Sighișoara (Full board · 260 km)
Breakfast and departure from Bukovina, crossing the Carpathian Mountains into Transylvania. Stop at the Borgo Pass — the Dracula hotel, built on the supposed site of Dracula's Castle. Arrival in Bistrița and panoramic tour. Lunch and continuation through Târgu Mureș — the "city of roses", with strong Hungarian influence. Arrival in Sighișoara. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6 — Sighișoara › Brașov (Half board · 120 km)
Breakfast and visit to Sighișoara (UNESCO), one of the most enchanting medieval towns in Europe. At 425 m above sea level stands the citadel (14th century), preserved in magnificent condition: the Clock Tower, the 150 original dwellings, the Church on the Hill (Gothic, 14th century), the Evangelical Church with its magnificent organ and the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler, the origin of the Dracula legend. Departure for Brașov. Lunch. In the afternoon, visit to the medieval centre with the famous Black Church (14th century). Dinner and overnight. Brașov is one of the most beautiful cities in Romania, with a vibrant social scene.
Day 7 — Brașov › Bran › Sinaia › Bucharest (Half board · 260 km)
Breakfast and departure for the village of Bran, where we visit Bran Castle (14th century), built to defend the country against Turkish invasions and later used as a customs post between Wallachia and Transylvania. Restored in 1920 by Queen Marie as a summer residence, it has recently been returned to the Romanian royal family. Continuation to Sinaia to visit Peleș Castle, one of the most impressive in Europe, built in 1883 with around 160 rooms and magnificent German-style gardens, likewise restored to the royal family. Lunch and continuation to Bucharest. Overnight.
Day 8 — Bucharest › Otopeni Airport (Bed & breakfast)
Breakfast and transfer to Otopeni International Airport for the return flight.
